7200 reciever options

i had this in the closet for a while now and seeing how i have two new dvrs i was wondering if this thing records now since i already have the dvr feature.

What was the largest hard drive this thing will accept?

I cant find any info about this reciever anymore......not sure why it almost as good as my 510, just less hard drive space. Its not like the newer recievers do anything more...it has digital audio and svideo.

Wasn't it recording before you de-activated it?

It will use up to 137GB, so I would look for a 160 or a 120GB HDD.

The new models now have full name-based recording, the DP only uses it for conflict resolution. Hasn't been updated in awhile, but see EKB: DishPlayer Page

yea mine , dump all you want! (up to 137gb , gets "true 100 hours out of 120gb HD , unlike Lieing other DVR's ( yes the 510)) and its PVR fee free , sure its a little slow but its still kick ass , don't let anyone tell you different !
