721 DVR and DPP Separator

It's my understanding that current 721 software does not support DishPRo Plus Separators. I've been told that the software download for this support is close, as in any day.

Can anyone confirm this?

It's not the Separator, but the DPP Twin LNBF that is the issue.

If you're using a DPP44 switch, you're OK.

Okay.....so if I have a DishPro Dual LNBF and a DishPRo Twin LNBF going into a DPP44 switch and I need to feed a 921, 721 and a 510.......can I add DPP Separator so I can give the 721 it's two inputs. I can not get two cables to the 721.

yes, that would work fine.

The 921 doesn't seem to like being connected with 2 cables to the DPP44 so get a DP Separator for it too.

Thanks for the tip. What kind of problems do you get with two cables vs one cable and the separator?
