721 question Can I record OTA with it ?

Is there a way to record OTA with it without having to pay for locals ? Thanks

No there is no way to record OTA signals on a 721 as there is no MPEG Capture equipment on the 721.

Nope, none of the DVR's will.

The 921 will however record OTA Digital since its Mpeg already.

This old topic gave me a good head scratch...

I know the 721 wont record OTA Locals but what if you actually pay for your locals and have a SuperDISH. Technically, wont your locals now appear on your standard menu and give all normal PVR Features?

Man, my brain is tired doing research on the 721.

If your are getting your locals from dish you can record them with the 721.
