Hi, I just had my new 722 and 222 installed yesterday, everything is working great so far. I have a question about the DishComm feature and phone line.
Currently I have the 222 connect to a phone line, and the 722 is using Dishcomm to communicating with the 222. But I also have a ethernet cable connect on the 722. Can I just disconnect the phone line on the 222, and use the 722 ethernet connection, and have the 222 talking to the 722, via the ethernet back to Dishnetwork?
What happen if I don't use phone connection, will I be charged with $5 / month? (read some where on the forum).
The reason is my phone company charge 10cent / min to dial out (just subscribed to DSL, and not phone service), so I don't want to have phone line connect to receivers, and dial out everyday.
