722 AUDIO DROPS ON RECORDED PROGRAMS

I apologize if this has been answered before. My 722 within the last couple of weeks is having problems as it loses all audio on recorded programs. This is happening on both tv1 and tv2. It has also locked up completely which required unplugging the receiver to get it freed up. Is there any kind of disk maintenence that can be performed, or is my receiver circling the drain.

It's probably circling, I'm sorry to say. Add DHPP to your account then call Tech Support. If they deem it dying, you'll get a replacement N/C. Then drop DHPP upon receipt.
