My 722 with Dish 1000.4 gets Error 004 on occasion when viewing locals. It clears when I switch to OTA. I have L618 downloaded. Sat 77 TP5 (Jacksonville locals) signal is 37. Sat 72 TP11 = 46, Sat 61.5 TP12 = 70. Are the 72 and 77 signals too low? I'm not certain if these are normal. If they aren't, I'll make sure the mast is plumb and skew is correct.

Try a reboot. Mine did this a few weeks ago on random channels. Reboot fixed it. Now my son just told me it's doing it again, but only on HD channels. 129 TP 21 signal is 79.

I peaked the dish (off a little). The numbers improved to 77 tp5 = 57, 72 tp11 = 59, 61.5 tp12 = 72. I'll keep an eye out for the error 004. If it pops up again, then I know it isn't signal related

Next time that you peak, protocol is to peak on 72, TP 19 or 21. I tuned to channel 383 HDNMV, then menu 6-1-1, changed to TP 19, then did the fine adjustments at the dish. I ended up with upper 60's on 61.5, upper 50's on 72 & 77.

I just checked 72 TP 19 and that is 59. TP 21 is 58 so I think I'm dialed in.
