722k to 722k

I feel stupid writing this, but is there a way to switch info from the hard drive from one box to another, perhaps by USB? I just received a replacement 722k for my other one that started to malfunction and it's going to be very annoying to lose all of our saved programming.

Pay a one time fee of $40 and activate the EHD feature. Plug in an EHD to the departing DVR and transfer. New DVR should be able to read the programs just fine.

Yep navy is exactly right. Once the new 722k is on you account it will have the same household key as you other box and you can connect it to the new box and transfer back and forth.

I had the same issue with a 622 replacement a few years back. I Emailed Executive team at E* and they activated the External HD option for free to transfer my programs. All I was out at that point was the price of the EHD.

Did you keep using the EHD feature or did it "expire?"
