722vip to Hopper upgrade

I'm upgrading from a 722vip to a Hopper with sling. I currently have a 500 gig hard drive plugged into the usb on my 722. It is nearly full of HD concerts I've saved over the past several years. Will the Hopper be able to read the drive or do I lose everything I have saved?

You wil be able to use the external with the Hopper and not lose any of your recordings.

It will carry over to the new Hopper just fine...
