811 and Channel Master amp

Does anyone know if I can use a Channel Master Spartan 0065 DSB amp, (attached to an OTA) with an 811. I am running it through diplexer and using the Dish Sat. cable to run it to the 811. The amp has no power supply of it's own and uses the power from the 811 receiver. This worked with my 6000 but am confused as whether it will work with the 811. Thanks...

As long as you are using the supplied Channel Master 4032IFD diplexer, it should work fine. The 0065 DSB is designed to work with the lnb power supply from the receiver (+12 to +22 Volts DC) to provide power to the preamp.

Just checked the specs on the Channel Master 4032IFD diplexer and it appears that this will work as the previous post says...
