My wife is finally letting me buy an HDTV this Christmas :D
So, I'll be getting an 811 or 921 to go with it.
I easily pick up stations from both the Harrisburg, PA and Baltimore, MD DMA's.

The question I have deals with the guide data from local OTA channels. Will the box only pull in guide data for the channels that are in your DMA, or will it also pull in guide data for the ones that arn't (ie the Baltimore one's that I pick up over the air)?

Also, is guide data also put in for the digital substations?
Can't find anything that tells me where the guide data comes from, either remapping of channels from 7000-8999, or pulls it from the OTA digital stream.

also, what would happen if you "moved", would you're OTA guide data be hosed?

1. I've never gotten guide data for OTA sub-channels.

2. Even though I subscribe to OKC locals, I only have guide data for 3 of the 8 OTA digital stations. The guide is complete for the Dish locals. Draw your own conclusions.
