811 Question

Can I use an SW21 switch with an 811? I currently have a 301.....

The model of receiver does not matter, the switch has to work with the lnb's. What type lnb's are you using?

You already use an SW21 with the 301? Just run another line from the other outputs of your LNBs or switch, mirroring the 301's setup. The 811 will work with it. Or if this is a replacement, just plug it in. Either way you will need to run a Check Switch.

Well my problem is, that if I remove my 301 and put the 811 in it's place I get no signal. Signal is fine on the 301. I am positive I'm plugging the satellite feed into the proper input on the back of the receiver. Any ideas?

yes. When it is done, I get all X's. It says no switchbox detected.
