811 with analog TV

If an 811 is hooked up to an analog set, with the HD package, will it display the HD package programming listings in the guide? Also, will the HD programming be displayed(downconverted of course) on the analog set?

The answer to both is yes. HD programming will be letterboxed. I have one 811 set up this way.

HD downconverted is a mixed bag, at least for me. Network dramas/comedies/movies look great, very DVD like, but most sports are hard to watch this way. To much shimmering is the best way to explain it. Straight lines (on a tennis court, on a football field, etc) tend to shimmer or shake a bit. Must not be the greatest 480i conversion chip as I've seen other stand alone ATSC boxes that do much better 480i conversions with sports.
