Well L2.70 has broken the advance frame-by-frame feature.

It now advances about 1/2 a second each time the button is pushed.

I really don't understand how Dish/Eldon cannot fix the one second jump (pause the program and then hit frame-by-frame advance or slow motion and the video jumps one second) but can manage to break one of the good things on a DVR.

:wtf:

Why the hell would I buy a 942 for $699 or pay a $250 fee for the privilege to not own the receiver when the MPEG4 DVRs will be out in the next 6 months?

Not to mention the fact that we 921 owners have already donated up to $1000 to E* (depending on how early we bought them) for the privilege of owning one of these POS receivers.

Yea,

This is nuts. 2 years out and we can't get a software update that doesn't break something.

Are you kidding? What a whiner! Obviously you don't own a PC with Windows or you wouldn't complain for another 10 years. These people don't hold a candle to Microsoft.

JohnP :D
