921 LNB/Switch setup......

  • Server Issues.

We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.

Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

Thank you for your patience! Sorry for the issue!

I've got a Dish 6000 with a Dish looking at 110 and 119, and a second dish looking at 148. The two cables coming out go to a SW 21. It is NOT a dish pro switch 21. To upgrade to a 921, can I just get another SW 21, and connect two more cables to the LNBs (each one has two taps, only one used) on the two dishes, then run another RG6 cable down to my living room? Does the 921 require dish pro switches? If it does, then do I have to get dish pro LNBs and switches????

An additional SW21 will work just fine for you. You don't need dishpro lnbs or switches for the 921 to work.
