942/622 operational question

I currently have a 921 and am planning to upgrade to a 622 in April. I understand the 622 is based on the 942. With a 942, from Stand By can you timer record and output the show on TV2 at the same time. I ask because I library some shows on DVD and would like to record to the DVD recorder, while keeping a copy on the 622 as a backup.
Or can you leave the DVR ON and record a show and output it to TV2?

I think hes saying hes got a stand alone DVD-R recording device on TV2 output of his 942 and wants to make sure that he can set a timer on the 625 and get a signal when a timer fires on 2 like he does his 942 so he can set a timer on his stand alone DVD-R and record it as its recorded on the 625.

Answer is yes. Any time a tuner is recording its outputting to the TV in question.
