A/B Switch

Is it possible to use a A/B switch when you have 2 dishes ( Western & Eastern) to switch between the dishes? I understand that if possible you would have to run a check switch if you would switch between them correct?

Any input would be appreciated

Biggest concern would be does the switch pass the frequencies that are coming down the pipe from the Dish LNB?

Dish stacks frequencies, especially on the H3, so that might be a real problem.

Been using a A-B Switch from toggling between the Winegard Trav'ler on the roof and a ground tripod dish for 13 years. Look for a high quality switch.

I don't think they make any high quality A/B Switches for coax

We were talking about an A-B coax switch, not an HDMI switch, like this Eagle Switch.

Yea that will likely work for passing up to 2 ghz but I would cross your fingers as they are generally rated for 900 MHz.
