A couple Sat Questions

I have a few questions....

For the past few days, I have been losing my HD local channels with pixelated images and/or lost audio.


Today I decided to go to system Info one screen and to come to find out, I have red on both 129 and 118. Could this be the cause for my lost local hd feed? What else will this affect?


Second question: Currently I am getting Sat 129, 110,119, 118...would it help to get another dish to get sat 61.5 or is that a waste?

Where are you and what locals were you receiving?

By his location i'd guess Detroit, MI locals

If your problems are only with your HD locals, trying for 61.5 would probably be a waste.

I am in ypsilanti so my locals would be Detroit.

So are the sats Im missing cause me to have problems with my Hd locals?

When I called them, they said it was my local stations and they have no control over that. The problem I have with that logic is that it does not happen with my parents who also live in the same area and have the same service.

Can anyone answer that, if im losing 129 and 118 will that affect my locals?
