Sometimes when I open a program the screen goes blue screen (not blue screen of death) with static lines running acrooss it and then it takes a few seconds for it to go away. I believe it maybe because 7 doesn't know my monitor (Generic PnP Monitor), I have a Hyundai Q90U but it will not take the windows driver for it.
Does anyone know where to get windows 7 drivers for Hyundai Q90U?

Does Vista or XP have the proper drivers?

Run the XP file with compability as XP service pack 2 to see if it loads

And you can donate the old to the Salvation Army. Even get a small tax writeoff.

How is your monitor connected to your PC? If you have an analog connection, that might be your monitor's normal behavior when the source changes the horizontal scan rate (as a result of changing output resolution), and the monitor attempts to resync. Try switching to a digital connection if you can, it's easier for the monitor to detect the change in resolution, and it may give a smoother transition.

Thanks but it's hooked up digital. I have the monitor hooked up to 2 pc's, one being analog but this pc is on the digital side. I use the switch on the front to change it. Which is the way I've always had it with XP without a problem.

Take the switch off, just use the one computer with Windows 7. Does the problem still happen? I have seen MANY computers have problems when they are upgraded and have a switch connected.

I'll give it a try but the switch is built-in to the monitor.
Thanks.
Sometime tomorrow I'll try it from a fresh both.

Well that didn't work. :( But I did find out it has the problem right as it boots in to windows 7. See I never watch it boot cause I'm always on the other pc then switch back after it already booted.

I tried different settings in NVIDIA Control Panel with the same results.

I even tried codecs and that didn't help.

Try this. Unzip it and right click on the .inf file and choose install.
Thanks but that works in XP not 7. I would guess cause it doesn't have any info for windows 7 and thats my problem..
