I was just going to post this. I thought Tony Curtis was mostly a good man, and grew as an actor. He was awful to start with, but developed into a competent performer who could hold his own on the screen with anybody.

I met him briefly at an airport once. He was very friendly and quite funny. it was a real treat for me.
