I'm trying to add a 3rd 500 receiver to my house where I currently have a 500 & a 811. Any idea how this can be done without buying a ton of new stuff. The Dish rep. said no problem but I get all kinds of sat. errors when I hook them up. TIA.

Also, there is no "500" receiver. All Dish receivers are Dish500 compatible. Check the front panel or Sys Info screen for the actual model number. And how are you hooking them up? Did you go into the Installation menu to do the Check Switch? Hopefully you didn't try to use a splitter.

Add a DP34 switch or replace the DP Twin with a DP Quad or even legacy Quad. Each receiver must have its own direct run of RG6 to the switch or LNB.
