Was originally scheduled to be hooked up July 15, finally go installed Aug 5. After three reschedules due to "lack of 1000+", emailed ceo@dishnetwork, who personally took care of it. They did an "internal" install, actual dish employees. Were here 6 hours, did a great job.. but, later that day started to loose signal. Had another tech come out, re-aim a couple of days later, not dish guys. Next day, signal strength even worse. They send out a third guy (field suppervisor). Finally all is well. Strong signal strength, all four satts running betweek 80-100.
Seems to be some lack of knowledge/experience with the Dish 1000+ since they are so new.

congratulations! where do you live? what signals were week? what do you mean by internal? you mean dish dsc (dish service corp) the dish owned installers? and finally i had to squabble a little over the required 2-dpp44 switches. did they install 2 for you? good luck with it! enjoy!
