Aiming 110 and 119

This may not be perfect but it works well for me.
1. make sure the mast is plumb (if not everything will be off)

2. set the skew and elevation (may have to tweak later)

3. point the dish toward the azimuth angle using a compass (this should give you something in the point dish screen menu 6-1-1)

4. Depending on your switch matrix you should have some signal showing up on the screen. I'd start with the sat set to 119 and the transponder 19 or 20 - If not move the dish side to side rotating around the mast in about a 10 degree sweep (which is not very far) very very slowly, move and pause. You should see some signal

5. If you have signal and everything is all red choose check switch on the point dish screen and then test. It should come back 119 polarity All 110 polarity ALL unless you have Legacy equipment, then it should come back 119 Odd/Even 110 Odd/Even, if not, the dish is still not aligned, keep moving and repeat.

6. Cancel on the installation summary screen which will take you back into the point dish screen. Make sure you have signal above 70 at least, but you should be able to get it up around 100 or more obviously the higher the better. Check sat 119 transponder 19 and 20 and sat 110 transponder 20 and 21.

7. Cancel everything, the screen will go to attention 015 and then 330 and you should be set.

Once you adjust skew do NOT adjust it any further. If the mast is plumb on ALL sides then it will be correct where it is at.

Finally, if you can't get bth birds to lck in, or you get a 119/129 combination, cover the 110 side with foil and shoot for 119. If your skew is right, you'll get 110 after you remove the foil and run a Check Switch.
