When i first saw the headline i took it as premiums. HBO, Showtime, etc.

I suppose I see that. I never read the headline, which is why I was confused by a couple of comments here after reading the article.

I think that the author of this article was referring to pay tv as a premium service. The confusion comes in when we as satellite customers think of premium movie packs like HBO,Cinemax,Showtime ,etc. Now days your satellite / cable bills are at an all time high or premium anyway.
