Amazon live TV service in 'early stages,' says report

It's the "create original material" that interests me.

Forget the idea of Yet Another Box! Use Roku and smart TVs and such and charge for the material.

Update: Amazon has responded to The Wall Street Journal's report, noting that while it will continue to develop Prime Instant Video and create original shows, it is "not planning to license television channels or offer a pay-TV service."

Another one bites the dust, and it get tougher still now that net neutrality is dead.
 
they keep producing shows Alpha House and Netflix continues with great show like House of Cards, and they will run the network shows out of business. That's the business model. Create your own, and F, the rest of them Strike a deal NFL, MLB, NHL, etc, to broadcast live games

Oh well, I guess we will have to wait for the next rumored big company to break the TV monopoly... We all could be dead and buried by then...
