AMC 11/8: E! HD E/W, Esquire HD E/W, Sprout HD, Chiller HD, Olympics Soccer HD & Olympics Basketball HD & TVOne HD


Simulcast Start Date: July 5th

DEADLINE: July 21st


NBCUniversal Networks on AMC 11, Transponder 13 will be migrating to SES 1, Transponder 9 and NBCUniversal Networks and TVOne HD on AMC 11, Transponder 8 will be migrating to SES 1, Transponder 8 as a result over concerns of the reliability of AMC 11. The simulcast is available as of July 5th, 2016. All transitions are to be completed by July 21st, 2016



All current equipment is compatible. No new authorization is required. Cisco PowerVu receivers will need to be connected to the new SES signals and reprogrammed with the appropriate satellite parameters. Quick retune guide is attached and all new technical specifications as of July 5th can be found on our Affiliate Website at https://www.nbcunetworks.com/node/881and on the TVOne Affiliate Website at http://www.tvoneweb.com (the TVOne website is is a password protected site and both the user name and password is “affiliates”).

What's weird is that two other major parents are moving their feeds over to AMC-11 by July/Aug.
I wonder what Comcast's beef is with the "reliability of AMC-11"
