Actually the plans for more HD can continue with our without the new satellite. Only thing missing are 4 transponders.

Plus am hearing there is a good chance that the satellite can reach proper orbit by using its own thrusters, the issue with this is instead of 15 years of service life it would only last 7 - 10 years.

We should know more in the next 24 - 48 hours.
