American Idol & KTVU San Francisco

Here we go again!!!

Once again we tune in to watch American Idol (my wife's favorite show) on KTVU out of San Francisco and nothing.....no picture, no sound, and no answer on 888.333.DISH. The same thing happened several times last season.

Charlie, what's going on???

Problem with KTVU

It has happened numerous times on KTVU Channel 2-- during American Idol, 24, and 49er games. There is no signal from the antenna and from Dish.

I just spoke to KTVU. They say the problem is on their end.

I got lucky. My wife didn't realize it started up again tonight, so I was spared having to watch that steaming pile of crap with her. I'm sure that won't go on for much longer, though. I got lucky with the Golden Globes last night too!

On my 622, the HD channel in the 6000 range was dead (and channel 2 is mapped to that) but the SD channel in 8000 range was fine. The All American Direct channel 537x was also OK

I always check SD if HD is flakey, and SD is often OK.
