Well, on the below website, there are showing up from time to time, newer .abs versions with more and more apps on them, latest version having Youtube, RSS Redaer, Weather Forecast, Google Maps, WebTV, Big2Small, BurgerTV, Stalker IPTV, Xtream Codes and UK FTA on it... I was wondering if they weren't installed as initial apk android apps, otherwise... what format are they?? And what OS does it use?

Knowing that the chips in such devices are made by Alitech, I'm very much tempted to think these devices are AliOS based (AliOS (formerly Yun OS and Aliyun OS) is an Linux distribution developed by Alibaba Cloud, a subsidiary of Chinese company Alibaba Group. It is designed for smart devices such as smart TVs and it has been used as a mobile operating system. It is an operating system based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP),

especially after reading:
"In 2015 November, following Chinese State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television's policy, dozens of third-party applications installed by users on their own Yun OS set-top boxes are automatically removed and blocked from re-installation." , in this article:
