Android TV update puts home-screen ads on multi-thousand-dollar Sony Smart TVs

I have a 55" Insignia 1080p dumb TV and couldn't be happier

More under-handed happenings from Google. They've gotten too big for their britches. Might be time for the govt to poke them in the eye.

its the new trend, directv starting putting them on the screensaver. look for them during pause soon.

LG tried this years ago with my 2013 3D smart tv LA6200 model. I sniffed the ip address it was coming from, and blocked it on my router. They tried rotating 5 different addresses later, and I blocked them all in turn. Not a single issue since.
