Hello, I'm bugging you guys again. Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking about upgrading my 2 receiver system (one is a model 2800 and the other a model 7200) to a dual tuner 625 controling both rooms.

My question is how hard is this upgrade, do I just take both cables out of my receivers and plug them both into the 625 and call dish for activation? I hope!

Also I believe I have the SV21 switches.

If you have a Dish 500, then it is just a matter of putting DishPro Plus Twin LNB on the dish and doing some reconfiguring (diplexing) to the cable, but this allows you to use the one line running into each room.

If a DishPro or Legacy switch/LNB is used, then you have to have 2 lines running to the dual-tuner receiver.

Just take the two lines from your old receiver and plug them into the new receiver that they send you. Call and activate.

Thats what I did till I bought a used DishPro Plus Twin LNB from ebay.
Also I bought a brand new in the box 625 from ebay too.
I guess it was just luck that I didn't get stuck.
