I tried calling once before using the online chat and said Local Channel Connector and the automated system to get you to the right department didn't understand it. I think they make it tough for you to get one. They should sell it at ATT.com.

I called and requested a LCC and was told they sent one in January. I told them they canceled that order and never sent it. He then said they would need to transfer me to Tech support as there was a problem with my system. I repeated the story to tech support who took a while but said they were able to order a LCC. She gave me a confirmation number and said would receive it in 3 business days. I am not holding my breath.
I am starting to think the same way. Why did they make the LCC if they make it hard to get one?

Just tried chat again. One said she would contact Fedex about the tracking number. I don't buy that. I don't think anyone at DTV customer service knows about the LCC. Then got transferred to another department and he said contact the tech team.

Try Tech Support. I had the best luck with them. That being said I checked my order status on att.com and there is no LCC in progress. There is an order for Directv installation on December 7 2020. This should be interesting.

This is a very dangerous time for ATT to play this game. They are loosing subs by the truckload now they are jerking around long term subs to save a couple of bucks on a LCC they should have sent last time.

Now what if I try FUBO or HULU live this weekend in order to get the missing local channel? It is in the middle of Football season and this is a FOX station so it is not out of the question. Now just maybe I like the flexibility of streaming, I already have Netflix, HULU, HBO Max and Peacock, so my am I paying ATT around $230 a month?

Congratulations ATT, you just gave a customer a reason to try another service. This service was run so much better before they sold to ATT.

Mine says Directv Installation - Premier. This is the service I already have so god only knows what will happen here.

Lost NBC here...of course I have OTA and get both the lost one and another from another market with it but no DVR ability of it. I sure would love a AM21...

I have an AM21 and cannot get the locals for some reason the recvr doesn't see it, says "Tuner has been removed" ...

Same thing with my mother. I am not too confident.

My mother actually got hers today so there is hope.

LCC's won't work on a HR24 correct? Only a AM21? Just confirming.
I don't remember anymore ... I think there was stipulations that it had to be a Genie I think ... unsure WHY, I think they only will give you 1 per household as well.

Can you not get them elsewhere ?
Just asking.

Worth a shot I suppose, but it seems highly unlikely.
