Antenna signal amplifier

I would like to move 1 of my receivers 650 feet to my shop. I need to know if there is a product that will amplify the signal to the reciever so that it will work. I figured that I would just hook the cable that went from the switch to the receiver to an amp and then move the receiver out to the shop an hook it to the cable that goes out there.
Is the signal that goes to the receivers an RF signal or a Digital signal

Dan,

650 feet is WAY to far to run a cable feed from a Dish or Switch to a receiver. Why don't you just get another Dish and mount near or on your Shop somewhere.

he is correct that is way to far to run anything, analog or digital, a amp wouldn't help

RG-11 or 1/2" Heliax might do the job - at like a $1/ft.

How much would that other dish cost you?
