I thought I've read about some kind of a deal on some new DTV dvr receiver. Is this still going on? (I currently have the R10.) How does the new one compare to the R10? Can you use the rewind, record, etc. features on music channels with the new one (unlike the R10)? Is there any complicated installation tricks required, or is it just the audio/video jacks?

Look for posts on the R15 you probably already used your rebate on the R10 so it will cost you $99 if you decide you want the bugs.

ive been a directv tech for 6 years this feb 20th , some advice.........................................keep your R10 TIVO,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the R15 is garbage,,,,,,they will get my TIVO when they PRY IT FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS......or maybe in 2009
