Any deals to get free Sunday Ticket this year?

    Curious to see if anyone has attempted to secure free Sunday Ticket for the upcoming season, and what deal they were able to get.

    If you Expecting it for free ...
    Typically you can get it discounted .... but free is rare ... it happens, but I hate it when people complain that they couldn't get it for free.
    I was always happy with anything under $ 200 .... to me it Does have value.

    I too would wait till August and then start calling.

    Called yesterday to cancel Sunday Ticket after my free trial from last year expired.

    I can't remember where I saw it and can't find a link (maybe @ Solid Signal) the article said look for At&t to be more stingy about discounts for Sunday Ticket. It could have been meant as a new Subscriber incentive more than meaning for existing subs, not sure.

    I called yesterday to cancel so the auto renewal and 1st billing isn't on my August bill like it was last year. I asked for any offers, they offered me $12/mo off, I passed. I'll call back in a few weeks and see if something is out there, but it will possibly be my 1st year without. I have kids who are college students that can get it online at the students rate, we may go that route.

    I sure wish they offered Red Zone as a stand-alone like DISH does.

    I think theres a Red Zone version available from the NFL Network ... many like that version better... do you have NFL N ?

    As of late I’ve been watching more red zone than anything other than the Patriots games.

    Honestly the NFL Sunday ticket is becoming less appealing to me and the cost is not worth it. Plus with my work schedule I am barely free these days. Keeping ST for one more year and then we will see what I want to do.

    D* C/S sucks since the merger with AT&T. After I called to cancel this years Sunday Ticket Friday, the twit never processed it, so it showed up on my August bill.I called in and got a combo C/S person that does D*, Internet and wireless.Totally clueless. She took it off but said I'd have to pay the bill for the 1st month and get credited for it next month. I called BS and asked for a supervisor. Then she said she could take the charge off of my bill this month. Once MLB package is over, I'm done. 9 years, but I can get tv for lots less $$$.

    Did you call D* or ATT about this ?

    The merger has nothing to do with the CS issues ... they can be very good one time and bad the next.

    Called Directv. 1-800-531-5000. Got transferred to a C/S agent who's 1st question was to ask whether I was calling for wireless, internet or TV? She said the ATT C/S agents handle all 3.

    I agree, but It's probably because my phone number shows I have both D* and AT&T Fiber Internet and the combined billing, so they route me to AT&T no matter what now since I added the internet.

    Try going on the D* website and do a Chat and see what they have to say.

    I use chat more than calling in anymore.

    If the charge isn't removed by tomorrow, I will. Just got an email that they did a change to the account and Sunday Ticket was removed. but the 1st month charge is still there.
