I have seen this weeks planned uplink activity and I don't expect much although they are going to be testing a new HD channel on one of the Temps. However even though that station will start testing there is no word if and when it will become available. That channel is EPIX HD.
Well last time they said they were putting up a new HD channel to test, it was Hustler HD and we got the channel the same day, so who knows.

Wow! I guess they're really committed to trying to fool people into spending $10 a month on Platinum :rant:
Yeah, but what does free preview mean then? I guess it is targeted to folks that are still not HD subs!
I doubt they will turn on any new national HD. If they were going to, there would of been a mention last week on the Tech Chat and the retailer chat.
A couple of chats ago they said that new National HD would be coming soon, do they always specifically announce what's coming, or have they said some will come, and then they show up?

As for WNOL New Orleans, this will be the HD version launch as we have been having the sd version.
There have been a few times where they had a chat and were asked about specific channels by name and they said that they were no plans to add that channel at this time... only to have it light up later in the week.
