Any New Software Coming To 301?

Just Curious, if any new software is coming for the 301's? I noticed that many other Dish Receivers are getting new software updates so I thought possibly Dish Network may be releasing new Software Updates for the 301.

Any problems with your 301? My 311 works like a charm.

Whats the diff betwean the 301 and the 311 anyway?

Are there any problems with the 301 that needs to be addressed? I'm not aware of any. They kids are the sole users of my 301, and its only problem was the inability to tune Nick. Somehow that has fixed itself.

From what I have read here the 311 has the built-in smartcard and has more memory. The extra memory helps to extend the size of the guide a bit.

My BEV 3100 (Dish 301) was upgraded this week to now have a 48 hour guide

If the 311 has more memory than the 301 then it should have more than 2 days worth of EPG data if it helps to extend the amount of time on the EPG. This is what they should do if not implemented already.
