Any further news on when Cablevision will be adding Voom HD to their line up? Last time I read it was in the process of testing. I heard Verizon Fios will be adding it to their line up. Maybe this is the push Cablevision needs to due the same. I think they are going to loose a lot of customers to Verizon & AT&T. For a long time it has been just them. I am looking forward to the changes they will make when the competition gets into more f their service areas.

Cablevision won't negotiate with Verizon for a carriage agreement for their RSN's and you think they're going to let them carry their VOOM channels?

You're probably right. It would not make any sense. I just hpe Cablevision hurrys up and adds the Voom channels. I think they will. That give them an opprotunity to charge for HD. I will gladly pay. Cablevision loves to make money on anything they can.

It will be interested to see how CV charges for those VOOM Channels. Initially on Dish they all were in a separate tier at $5/mth. Not anymore, they are part of the basic tier. If they become part of the basic tier, how is CV making a profit. I think Rainbow Media will follow the basic tier model if they decide to add them to CV. This will give them leverage in other negotiations. This could also open the door for them to start offering commercials on their channel which I think it will not be long since they decided to put everything on the basic tier.
