I'm amazed those Venturer units were actually produced. I don't think they ever hit the shelves.

i was just at my local walmart, they had a lot of HD DVD Players (not Toshiba) but you got two free movies with it, it didn;t say which ones but they had it for $99 i believe.

Yes, they did--just primarily in Canada. Here in the US they were called the Toshiba HD-A3.
