Hello All,
It seems that as of this a.m. (EST) my foreign channels (Russian CH1 in particular) cannot hold onto a signal (using a model 700). It's strange, however, since when I do a "soft" reset and deselect/reselect the Russian channel, it appears . . . for awhile.
All I have to do is a channel down or a channel up, and when I try to select the Russian channel again, all I receive is an error message (771, I believe).
I called DTV's tech support, and they had me jump through the appropriate hoops before "zapping" me, but still the symptomatic gain/loss of signal remain.
The weather is clear and calm (in west-central Ohio), so I'm at my wit's end. Repair will arrive on Thursday a.m., so all is not lost.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Jim
PS: As you can see from my limited number of posts, DTV has been almost trouble-free for me.
