Anyone knows of an installer in Los Angeles?

Sorry to hear that the guy I referred you to did not come thru. I only know this guy because I purchased a 1.2m dish from him and he always mentioned that he did FTA installations, and that’s the reason why I sent you his email to begin with.

I have done 3 installations myself so far with all the components you have (HH Motor + FTA dish + FTA receiver) and to be honest with you, it was not difficult at all. Especially the first time I did it.

You have not considered doing this yourself to give it a try?

Do what I've done. Take all installation components, and also take the receiver and a small TV or a portable 7",8" or 10" DVD player that has video inputs.

And that way you will save a lot of hours tweaking the dish.

I'd give it a shot, then if you determine that the chore is something way too difficult to do, then try looking for someone for professional assistance.
