NESN, 434 , Blacked out!? I'm in the Boston area. Started flipping around and found it's being broadcast on the NHL channels. Pic freezes than goes black.

** Solved. Had to do a chat. They sent a refresh signal and I power cycled my receivers

I really find the most hateful miserable experience to be the phone call to the tv provider when a sports event is not on the channel as listed.
Nobody I mean NOBODY knows diddly POO when I call to inquire. And they absolutely refuse to investigate.
And it is ten times worse when I get one of those stupid,. highly offensive foreign call centers.

DISH should take steps to help fix this problem because incorrect sports blackouts - OR perceived so happen so often. They could have a few "Sports specialists" as CSR's that those type of problems can be routed to. They could recognize the problem and know if the blackout is correct, if the game is on another channel the person calling must watch it on, etc. Long history of DISH not getting proper training to their CSR's and/or not making sure they keep their training up, whatever the end result is often horrible phone CSR's. I used to say they were no worse than some other companies I use but DISH is nearing the bottom now. At&T Cellular has come a long way with much better customer service, so has Brighthouse and Charter for Internet. (I don't know about them for TV service) I particularly liked my last call to Brighthouse about an IP problem, not a run of the mill problem the CSR after just a couple of minutes said it was out of her area of knowledge and transfered me to someone who instantly knew the problem and helped me get it fixed. (Bridge problem) That's what I am talking about that DISH should have in place.
