I have some older Dish Network receivers that I'm looking to get rid of. Is anyone interested or should I just toss them?
I have a 3000, a 3200, and a 3800.

Cards with them or no? (Note: I'm not hacking.) I found if they don't have the cards Dish will charge $60 for a new one for the old receiver, which isn't worth it if you can get a 311 for about $10 more.

If they have the old cards Dish says they'll upgrade them to new ones for free.

I tried adding an old 4000 I got from a garage sale with no card and the CSR told me it would be $60 for the card. Or I could get a 311 installed for $80.

Tough choice. :)
