Are my dish and my receiver a match?

I have a HR21-700 receiver I am trying to connect to a direct phase III dish and I cannot get a signal. Is it possible they do not match? Any help is greatly appreciated.

They're not a match in that you won't be able to receive any HD programming on your receiver with that dish. But you ought to be able to get SD off of 101.

In any case, ditch that dish. Get a Slimline.
