The ARS is actually 3 fees rolled into one
HD
DVR
Whole Home
But you already get a $10 HD credit for auto pay
This note is in the pdf about the price increase
*Advanced Receiver increase of $3.00/mo. applicable only to customers with Advanced Receiver service, an account activation after 2/8/2012, and will be reflected as $23.00/mo. after a $2.00 offsetting bill credit for each month that Advanced Receiver fee is active during its promotional period
so if a new customer signs up with ARS and autobill pay we will add 15$ for ARS and $6 for extra TVs plus base pkg
Example ARS autobill pay 2 tvs entertainment would be
55 pkg + 25ars + 6 = 86 regular price
rebates would be $25 ntl promo and $10 abp = 51 1-12 mos and then $76 12-24 then $86 mos 25+ with obvious subject to change after 1st year. I was curious if ABP would increase savings past $10 or remain $10. So it remains $10 discount
The issue is the price change hasnt taken affect yet. When I do a "dummy order" for a Genie + client I get this
54.99 for package (this price does not change in a week)
-25.00 credit (to make it 29.99 per the promo)
20.00 Advanced Receiver fee
-10.00 credit for HD auto pay
6.00 for primary receiver
-6.00 1st receiver free
6.00 additional receiver
Yes when the price change takes effect you will get a credit for $3 for the promo pricing (up to 2 years)...remember the DVR fee is going up to $10 with the increase
