Astro Too in Melbourne Fl.

Here I am in Orlando Florida, so I decided to call Astro Too a used Electronics Resale Shop, which has been mentioned in the forums here.

It's a good 70 miles from me but I was told they had 8-10 dishes, even mentioned 1 meter Weingard, so I was excited and took the trip.

I was so dissapointed when I got there, after walking through the warehouse to the back and through more doors twists and turns into the back between two tractor trailers I found 8 direct PC dishes (looked like plastic), 1 elevation bracket, and 1 lnb mounting arm.

I really wish they would have been a little more specific and knowledgable on the phone when I spoke to them, it was a round trip of over 140 miles and close to 3 hours.

I know some forum members in Florida have had luck, and very possible someone may have picked up some dishes just recently creating my misfortune.

Just wanted to let forum members know what to expect if they take a trip to sunny Florida this year.

A fellow forum member (no, not me ) picked up the remaining 1.2 meter Channel Masters a couple of months ago, he posted a thread about it.

The DirecPC dishes are still useful for FTA though, they're not plastic but fiberglass... same as the 1.2 meter Channel Masters
