At&T U-Verse Router

Used Model-HGV 3800 wireless router/ W power cord

I bought this off ebay, and I cant use it
We currently don't have u-verse, in this part of Mississippi
router lights come on, when powered up
no manual or cd comes with this unit

Not trying to thread crap, but how could anyone use this for anything other than an extra switch? I thought these were all property of AT&T.

I couldn't answer that for You
they are plenty of AT&T 2 wire routers on ebay
I just bought another one (different model) and it works fine
I just couldn't use this one, because U-verse is not available
here Yet

yeah, the non-uverse ones I understand somewhat but I thought the uverse ones were pretty heavily controlled by AT&T since they do not allow a self install yet and the Uverse gateway is activated and provisioned before install.

No biggie, I was just curious.
