Is there anyway to know if Atlanta's local stations will ever be moved to a spotbeam?

I am thinking of signing up with Dish and "moving" to Atlanta, but want to make sure I will have Atlanta locals for the length of my contract.

Because Ciel 2 will have spotbeam capability, it would appear that for the next 12 months they will remain CONUS (unless moved to another satellite sooner), but not beyond.

Are you referring to the HD or SD locals, because I thought the SD locals were on a spotbeam?

You are forgetting about the other conus Atlanta SD locals on DishNetwork's 119 sold by another company.

Atlanta already gets their locals on dish thou their not Hd.

The four major networks have been available in HD on Dish for some time now.
