I would like to re-route my satellite coax. I want to run the coax down the outside of my 2 story townhouse & have it come in where the pre-existing entry point was that was used by Comcast cable. The downspout is nowhere near this area so I’d have to somehow attach the coax to the siding on the upper half and to brick on the lower half.

How well do the coax clips work that clip onto the siding?

How do the pros attach the screw on clips to the mortar joints? What do they use for a drill and/or bit?

Any thoughts about using an epoxy to attach a clip to the brick or mortar? If it comes off after a few years just apply another dab of adhesive.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
