Attention 789 - broadband problem with on demand

On Demand on the hopper/joeys seems to have problems after a power failure or system reset. I am getting Error 789 (the receiver needs to be connected to broadband) sometimes after a storm, if my system resets or it might be somewhat random. The broadband connection is active and shows OK under settings.

The error seems to go away if I leave the system overnight. As I recall, on demand didn't work for 24 hours after the initial install.

Has anyone else seen this? What is the cause? Why does the system fix itself when you leave it overnight?

Is there a way to reinitialize the on demand when this problem is occurring?
