Audio problem with 'Jericho'

I was watching Jericho on WRAL last night and there was this weird audio bug. I could hear the theme music and some of the audio, but all of the conversation was missing (for the first half of the show). The commercials had full audio. When the audio cleared up, I noticed that it was NOT broadcasting in 5.1 surround, but 3.1.

All I can figure is that for the first half of the show, they were only broadcasting the 'surround' channels and not the 'front' channel audio.

No problems here watching it on the Denver affiliate LIL.

Probably your local affiliate was having troubles. It was a good episode too. Discussing it here

Yeap, Sounds like your affiliate. My CBS has had that problem before, but never that long. Usually until the first commercial break. It was fine here last night. Pretty good episode.

Same problem for me on WIFR in Rockford, IL. I recorded it OTA on a PC running Beyond TV (just got a 622 installed yesterday and didn't have everything set up to record yet) and thought that was my problem.
